The leaves of the Aloe adheres to a secret geometry. Despite its sharp edges and intricate, overlapping structures, it flows and communicates a sense of calm. Drawn on my iPad, this artwork’s layers were then separated and printed as a 7 colour screen print at Black River Studio. As the paper contracts and expands between colour layers during the printmaking process, every print is slightly different.
