casa del sonder

I was commissioned to make a detailed digital artwork, depicting the guesthouse Casa del Sonder, which lies between the Bo Kaap and De Waterkant, Cape Town.

I spent several mornings walking through town and the Bo Kaap sketching and taking reference photos. In the end I settled on 9 angles and enjoyed the process of merging the scenes together into a cohesive artwork.

The artwork is hanging in Casa Del Sonder’s newly opened café, situated on the ground floor of their guest house.
